Being an atheist has brought my understanding of the world to a place of rationality, helping me to understand my place among all the other animals. This led me to humanism, a way of living based on science, compassion, and egalitarianism.

I believe that it is time for our world to be united, we are after all, a single species, Human. I don’t understand why we have become so divided, and it is time to end that division, and become once more a single people.
I feel that a strong United Nations could be a stepping stone towards that unity.
